Hai semua. Hope you all mendapat nikmat kesihatan yang berpanjangan untuk mengabdikan diri kepada Allah. Hari jumaat merupakan penghulu segala hari. The best day of the week ! Why ? Sebab segala kebaikan yang kita buat pada hari jumaat mendapat ganjaran yang berganda-ganda compare with other days. So tak kan kita nak biar je hari yang penuh dengan ganjaran ni berlalu dengan sia-sia !
Sabda Nabi Muhammad SAW : "Jumaat dinamakan sebagai 'Sayyidul Ayyam' iaitu penghulu segala hari (hari yang sebaik hari)" -narrated by Abu Hurairah
I have listed some of the sunnah that we supposed to do in Friday :
- Wake up early and praying Fajr in congregation and recite Surah Al-Sajadah and Al-Insan in Subuh prayer. If can, do Sujud sajadah also and read this ayat (Sajada wajhiya lillazi kholaqohu wasouwarohu washaqqo sam'ahu wabasorohu bihaulihi waquwwatihi fatabarokallahu ahsanul kholiqin) 3 times
- Perform Dhuha Prayer
- Read Surah Al-Kahfi. Sabda Rasulullah SAW : "Who ever recites Surah Al-Kahfi on Friday, Allah will give him a light until the next Friday" -narrated by Imam Al-Baihaqi and Al-Hakim
- Wear a nice clothes. (afdhal wear a clothes in white colour) because The Prophet Muhammad SAW likes white colour.
- Come early to the mosque with a perfume to overcome distraction to other people and perform a Sunnah prayer and Tahiyatul Masjid prayer before perform a Jumaah prayer.
- Cut your nails before perform a Jumuah prayer. Ibnu Masud said : "Who ever that cut their nails in Friday, will be in Allah's protection for the following week"
That's all that i want to share with you guys. I wish that we all can do the Sunnah properly and get rewards from Allah. I will post an entry about the Sunnah in Jumuah prayer in the next Friday.
